Our historyA 1927 warehouse with a second act.
Originally constructed for the Arizona Sash, Door & Glass Company.
The original building was constructed in 1927 for the Arizona Sash, Door & Glass Company at the northeast corner of 9th Avenue and Lincoln Street. Roughly 80' x 250', it was a brick structure with a gabled roof supported by wood trusses, a stepped parapet, steel and wood windows, and large rolling doors. The company's slogan said it all: “Glass of All Kinds.”
In 1943, an 80' x 125' addition was built just to the east. Constructed during World War II, when steel was scarce, the addition is entirely brick and wood, featuring segmental arched openings with brick lintels in place of steel.
The Arizona Sash, Door & Glass Company occupied the site for decades before selling in 1998. The property changed hands several times over the following years until Sam and Anita Means purchased it in January 2019, hoping to restore its historic charm. An extensive, year-long remodel gave the building new life, with everything repaired or replaced with care.
Today it's home to creative merchandise company Hello Merch, screen printers Hello Screen Printing, and audio & visual house Public Record — and it's available for your next event.
